ABOUT.
Bleecker Baker Street marks our seventh location, and we're proud to remain an independent business with our founder, Zan Kaufman, still passionately leading the way.
Zan said, “The Baker Street opening is our 7th store opening so is a big turning point for the business in terms of things are getting serious. We’re going to launch with a bang. The footprint of the site seemed right and Charlie my 3 year old said yes!”

Meet the operations manager
Ellen Buckley
Meet Ellen, the powerhouse behind Bleecker Bloomberg, Spitalfields, Battersea, Canary Wharf, and now Baker Street. With 20+ years in hospitality - spanning Wagamama to Just Eat - she joined Bleecker in 2024, bringing a wealth of operational expertise to the team.
Go-to Bleecker order?
Bacon Cheeseburger with Angry Fries and a Cherry Shake. Bold flavours all the way - the heat from the fries and the richness of the burger balanced perfectly by that sweet cherry hit.
Meet the general manager
Michal Pietraszek
Meet Michal, our fantastic General Manager at Bleecker Baker Street! He joined the team in 2023 at Spitalfields after a long career in restaurants and is now leading the way at our newest spot. Passionate about Bleecker’s ethos of inclusion and diversity, Michal is all about great food and great people.
Go-to Bleecker order?
Bacon Cheeseburger with Angry Fries and a Cherry Shake (sometimes with a sneaky Oreo twist). He eats around five burgers a day - so trust him, he knows his stuff!

Best of baker street
With Bleecker Brand Director, Liam O'Keefe
1. Best bar or pub in the Baker St area?
I’m not sure if it’s the best, but The Globe is the go-to meeting spot before trips to Wembley. It’s got a great outdoor section that catches the sun. Ideal for a pre-match/gig pint.
2. Best pizza in the Baker St area?
I've had some excellent pizza at Alley Cats Pizza, but I haven’t made it to L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele yet. Since we're practically neighbours, it’s only a matter of time.
3. Which restaurant are you desperate to try in the Baker St area?
Chiltern Firehouse - once it reopens, I’ll be heading straight there.
4. Best bakery in the Baker St area?
Bonne Bouche Marylebone was my go-to sandwich spot back when I worked in Marble Arch. The Chicken escalope with mozzarella was my personal fave.
5. Best coffee spot in the Baker St area?
Saint Espresso. It’s where I first met Zan and her daughter Charlie when we visited the new site, so it holds some great memories. Plus, the coffee is very good!
